Indigo pearl,

poet, songwriter, troubadour, fiber artist, bird person and citizen of Earth, has been turning life's lessons and challenges into art since childhood.

With poetry and lyric driven music,
grounded in jazz, folk and gypsy influences, Indigo seeks to break down the fourth wall of performance by inviting the audience to experience spoken and sung words as rituals of co-creating, as spaces we can share.

Reader's reactions to In the thin place

“In the thin place is neither a hopelessly broad condemnation of contemporary humanity, nor a tightly-focused account of one person's intimate abuse. Rather, the interplay between them feels to me like it creates an echo that connects our personal tragedies to the larger common tragedy -- and, in so doing, finds the space to try and exceed both. ”

— John Lurz Professor of English, Tufts University

“Indigo pearl's words carry such raw honesty and beauty, the imagery has stayed with me since reading, and the works feel so real. Some pieces read like poetry, others like journal entries or narrative prose; all feel like ritual, inviting a reader into both grief and healing.”

— Alison Dale
